Job Description:
Horizon Staffing Solutions is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate paraprofessionals to work in school districts throughout Westchester County, NY. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to students under the supervision of a certified teacher, helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time positions for the 2025/2026 school year. Assignments may include in-school support and/or assisting students during transportation to and from school.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Hours: 8:10 AM – 2:50 PM (Times vary based on placement)
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and support for a student with emotional, cognitive, or physical disabilities, autism, or other special needs
- Reinforce positive behavior using established behavior support strategies
- Support students in small group
- Help students transition between activities throughout the day
- Assist with areas such as recreation, motor skills, vocational tasks, socialization, and communication
- Collect and document data on student behavior and progress
- Provide language support for bilingual students when needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Strong organizational and writing skills
- Patient, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
