This site builds support for people who are having trouble finding work and are getting discouraged. There are many temporary positions on this site as well as a support community to get you where you need to be successful.

Job boards are the postings that the job search engines produce. The chain of different jobs string together positions that are like what you are looking for. Job boards are effective in enabling you to apply to multiple positions in a short period of time. Time saved to read job descriptions carefully to ensure you can apply your skills to the right positions. The wrong thing to do would be to apply to as many positions as possible without reading if they even apply to what you can do.
Networking Events
Party time and free lunch…. sometimes. Networking events give employers a chance to sponsor events and find the right talent. Even with all the tools online to grab potential candidates to employers, nothing beats a good old-fashioned meet and greet. Although, just because the hiring event is in the city does not necessarily mean that the jobs are all in the city. Speak to friends and colleagues about these events to get tickets, which are often free, and make a day of it!
